Field Capture
A MagicPlan-style export, notes, and diagrammatic site evidence become a reviewable existing-condition record.
Where this starts: a phone walk and an export
Before any of the screens in this workspace exist, somebody stood in the building. magicplan is one common way that walk gets captured, and it is the one shown here. If your crews capture another way, the export changes and nothing else does.
Walk the space with a phone
One person, no tripod and no laser. Room by room, plus photos of the conditions that matter: panels, congested ceilings, damage, access.
magicplan turns it into a measured export
A report PDF carrying the sketch, the dimensions, your photos, your notes and your own custom forms. A sketch PDF. A DXF that opens in AutoCAD or SketchUp. Claims work can go straight to Xactimate or Cotality.
The export lands here
This is the step almost everybody does by hand. Instead of a person retyping the export into an estimate at nine at night, every line arrives with its source attached and a review state.
In a live deployment this is where your own export lands. This workspace is a demonstration, so it will not take a real file: never put an actual client project into a demo. Load the synthetic one instead and watch what happens to it.
Your tools stay where they are. The export is the input. Where the reviewed result goes afterward is whatever you already run on, and that is the part worth thirty minutes of talking rather than guessing.
