The brain
Every closed job leaves something behind. This is the part that makes job forty-eight cheaper to quote than job one.
What it learned from your own jobs
Nobody typed any of thisNone of these are industry averages and none came from a template. They are patterns pulled out of work this company already finished and already got paid for.
The information already exists. It is just stranded.
Your closed jobs are in the job system. The photos are on somebody's phone. The real costs are in the accounting file. The change orders are in email. Every one of those is a record of what actually happened, and none of them are talking to each other.
Nothing has to move. The brain reads what is already there and answers out of it, with the source attached so you can check it.
Why this compounds
The first job it does is roughly as good as a careful estimator having a good day. The twentieth is better than that, because it has stopped guessing at the things you have already answered twenty times.
Ask the record
Cited answer, the unknowns it will not paper over, and a proposed next action.
Next: what this is actually worth
The number that matters is not hours saved. It is how fast a real quote reaches a client who still cares.
